So, its time to write something on time,
Let’s hope I have enough words to rhyme!
No wonder the Wiseman calls it money,
Because one may delay, but time hops past like a bunny.
Leaving aside the car and catching a flight,
Save us a good day’s journey & one long night.
Money can buy most things, but what can buy money?
Don’t chewing one’s own teeth for lunch sound funny?
Time is ethereal, time is unseen,
You can stop the clock, but not the time, so mean!
Live not by the days, the hours, and the minutes but like the butterfly,
That relishes every moment that passes by.
Money can buy you a part of time, not the whole of it,
And if it could, the wealthy in their tombs would never fit.
